Club history
West Lindsey Juniors
West Lindsey Juniors were founded in 1997 to give football and coaching to boys in the rural areas of Lincolnshire around Grimsby and Scunthorpe ,over the last five years the club have achieved a reasonable amount of success both on and of the field .The high light of the five years was undoubtedly the historic trip to Nepal in August 2001 which was shown on ITV on the 23rd and 30th June 2002 at 6-15 pm .
As from April 25th 2002 the U/14 and U/18 West Lindsey squads will join with Keelby United ,this will provide a continuity of regular football to the U/18s who will now have the opportunity to progress to the 1st and 2nd team adult squads .It also provides Keelby with a very strong and structured youth section which will hopefully expand more when the club move to the proposed new sports complex in the village .
The U/18 squad and website was featured on another ITV documentary on Sunday 18th May 2003 .
